This past year HALO had the opportunity to be a part of the Starbucks Leadership Experience in Chicago, Illinois. This is a conference that Starbucks creates every 5 years for over 12,000 licensed store managers to come together and help grow their passion for the company and their teams. The HALO team had the privilege to be a part of this experience in many ways.
We created 12,000 key envelopes reading “The Power of One” on them. These were passed out to all attendees during the opening ceremony. These keys were given out to signify the original Starbucks shop and how all store managers are a part of that legacy and how that legacy should be transpired within in their own stores.
We also created ~50 watches for partners who were involved in the Starbucks Pittsburgh location that dealt with a very controversial experience. These partners took what happened extremely seriously and trained to better themselves and their actions which was a defining moment for the entire company. The entire year they worked with the utmost grace and positivity which did not go unnoticed by their leaders. Their integrity was awarded with the highest honor at the conference with the watches.
We also created 100 presidents’ awards and watches for the partners who showed tremendous perseverance and commitment throughout the year. These were presented at the closing ceremony of 12,000 store partner managers.
HALO also held a CoffeeGear Pop-Up store at the leadership conference which offered special edition leadership experience items. The pop-up shop was open from roughly 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM every day of the conference selling. The items offered for purchase were tee shirts, beanies, and sticker sheets. This experience helped give light to the items that are offered on CoffeeGear and helped bring traffic through both the programs and custom side of this account.
