Starbucks Community ENGAGEMENT

Starbucks believes their store partners are the center of our communities and have been serving proactively in their communities since Starbucks’ founding! In order to do this, Starbucks encourages their partners to volunteer their time by participating in community service projects in their local communities. Starbucks provides the partners with resources and shirts and with the help of HALO, who creates and distributes Community Service shirts to each partner. HALO not only produces and distributes the shirts for all partners around the country, but they also run an online website platform where partners can go and order shirts which automatically get sent from HALO’s warehouse facility in Sterling, IL. The shirt design and style has gone through many different renderings, as shown below. Back in 2019, Starbucks requested custom PMS colored shirts to perfectly match their brand colors. Sunrise was able to source and find a factory to support and create the custom shirts all within their budget and HALO continues to provide affordable shirts for the Community Service program.
